Custom 370Z Taillights: Clear vs Ghozt vs Blueghozt RGB
We build our clear 370Z taillights in three versions, and the difference comes down to how much control and animation you want. Here's a straight comparison so you can pick the right one.
The shared foundation
All three start from the same place: a clean, clear lens look that swaps the standard red lenses for clear reflectors, blending a modern style with classic JDM heritage. Each set is made to order, and every version is built to drop in and fit right. The difference is what's running inside.
Clear: the base version
This is the clean clear lens look, done right, with your normal taillight functions. No app, no module, just a sharp custom set that elevates the back of the car. If you love the clear style and don't need animations, this is your set. See the Clear version.
Clear Ghozt: sequential animations
The Clear Ghozt steps things up with sequential LED animations driven by the Ghozt V5 module. You get that high end sweeping motion on your signals and animated effects that make the rear end come alive, without needing your phone to run it. See the Clear Ghozt version.
Blueghozt Clear: full RGB, app controlled
This is the top tier. The Blueghozt Clear adds full RGB color controlled right from your phone with the BlueGhozt app. Change colors, build custom show modes, and fine tune everything on the fly. It's the most customizable set we offer for the 370Z rear. See the Blueghozt Clear version.
Quick comparison
- Clear: clean clear lens look, standard functions. Best for a simple, sharp upgrade.
- Clear Ghozt: adds sequential animations via the Ghozt V5 module. Best for motion without using an app.
- Blueghozt Clear: full RGB color and show modes from the BlueGhozt app. Best for maximum customization.
A quick note on legality
Rear lighting needs to stay red or amber to be street legal, so full RGB color is best kept for show and off road use. With the app controlled Blueghozt set, you can save legal colors as your default and switch to full color when you're parked. More on that in our street legal guide.
